OuR MISSION

We want to utilize our unique space to help build a child's physical, emotional, intellectual, creative, and social development! We strive to help nurture a love of learning and being active!

Active Based Learning

At Active Einsteins, we believe in active-based learning — an approach where children learn best through movement, play, and hands-on exploration rather than sitting still with worksheets or flashcards. Inspired by the groundbreaking book Einstein Never Used Flash Cards, our program recognizes that young children’s brains develop most powerfully when academic concepts are woven into physical activity and joyful play. This movement-rich style strengthens both gross and fine motor skills while building deeper understanding, creativity, problem-solving abilities, and a genuine love of learning. By giving children the freedom to move, explore, and discover, we’re not just preparing them for school — we’re nurturing confident, curious, lifelong learners.

A Day AT Active Einsteins

Here is what our day to day structure looks like

Early Explorers:

Drop off time is between 8:00 and 8:30a.m, whatever is convenient for parents.

Circle time is from 8:30 to 9. Here we discuss theme of the week, read books, sing songs, learn American Sign Language, etc.

Active Play time is from 9 to 9:15. This time is used to get them all warmed up for the day!

Between 9:15-9:30 they will rotate through Crafts, Active Learning, and Instructed Gymnastics.

Crafts Station: Hands-on art and creative projects designed to develop fine motor skills, creativity, focus, and self-expression.

Active Learning: Station Academic concepts (math, literacy, science, and social skills) taught through movement, games, and playful exploration — bringing learning to life without worksheets or screens.

Instructed Gymnastics: Station Structured gymnastics instruction in our full-size gym, focusing on strength, balance, coordination, body awareness, and confidence under the guidance of experienced coaches.

Snack time is from 10:15 to 10:45. Their snacks need to be brought in a lunchbox.

Active Play time is from 10:45 to 11.

Free time/Dramatic Play time is from 11 to 11:30. This is important for their creative minds and socialization.

Circuit time is from 11:45 to Early Explorers pick up at 12. They can play on the morning gymnastics circuit or if they are tired, can sit down and read a book. Students stay with us until the parent comes inside to sign them out.

Non Nappers will go to the classroom at 1:10 to work on additional academics anything from some one on one skill development to an independent art project.

What to Expect & Bring:

WHAT TO BRING:

Students will need a snack packed into a lunchbox AND a water bottle. We are very active and need to stay hydrated.

On the first day of class, please bring a spare change of clothes in a ziplock bag. We will keep this year long in case there are any potty accidents. If there is an accident, it will go in the ziplock bag to go home and will need to be replaced next class.

WHAT TO EXPECT:

When dropping off and picking up your child(ren) there will be a paper to sign everyday.

Our teachers will have a circuit set up so that once they put their backpack, lunch box, and shoes away, they can go play!

If you want to stay and watch, seating for parents is in the sitting area only. Siblings may NOT play on mats and must sit with you.

However, we do recommend that parents do not stay so that children can adjust to listening to their teachers and build confidence in themselves independently!

Meet the Teachers!

The manager of KIPS Gymnastics, Samantha, brought the idea of movement based learning to our area from her time being a teacher in Bozeman, MT. She fell in love with the program they offered and hoped to create a similiar program here!

But first, she needed some rock star teachers with a similar passion! Thankfully she found Heather and the rest is history!

With their dedication to our mission, these teachers have created a wonderful program that promotes movement while learning!

Let's make school a playground!
